Born and raised in Wisconsin, Matty Charm experimented with recording music since he was 17 years of age. He uploaded his first song on Reverbnation in 2013, where his exposure began. He then moved to Atlanta, GA in 2013 to be closer to the music scene where he could grow and develop as an artist. Some of his biggest influencers in music are Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown and Justin Bieber. Matty Charm first discovered his singing ability while singing songs by Usher on the way to his bus stop in 6th grade. Early on in his journey, he would show his recordings to friends and family for their perspectives.
Their suggestions were implemented and helped him expand his horizons and improve his music. He eventually started recording professionally, though it took some time for him to find the right people to work with. Matty Charm has been featured in Top 20 Musician articles by Music Observer in 2020 and 2021. In June 2023, he ranked as #2 Pop Artist in Atlanta, GA on Reverbnation. On July 5th, 2023 he released “Hottest Thing”. Though music has always been a passion for Matty Charm, his promo has increased since 2023 and his music has global reach.
