An upcoming Trap & Soul artist, YSN Hazel’s music is heavily influenced by Southern musical artists such as; T.I, OutKast, Field Mob & others, mixed with Soul inspired by Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke & many more.
Since at age 7, YSN Hazel loved writing and composes his own music, learned from his mother Tamela Pallord - an aspiring artist. He was placing first 3 times at the Willie J. Willams Middle School Talent Shows. He also won every open mic, placing first in T.I’s open mic at Apache cafe in Atlanta, GA. In his music, you can feel the pain and struggle of
YSN Hazel delivered through his unique raspy soulful voice. YSN Hazel hopes to make an impact on the world through his music, letting everyone know that despite going through tough times and any trials and tribulations, there is always a way out and better days ahead.
YSN Hazel has worked with artist, such as, PaoloAtl, KingKuzo, SnapCoolin, Dizzy, and EnzoMcfly. Now he finds himself working with Grammy nominated producer Cash Clay and Super Producer Renzy808. In it for the long haul and aiming for longevity in the industry, YSN Hazel does not plan on letting up any time soon! YSN Hazel is scheduled to drop his first album with GTK called "ME". His single "On My Way" is already available on all major streaming sites and the video can be seen on youtube.

What Musical Genre Do You Feel Best Describes Your Music And How Would You Describe Your Sound?
People will probably say R&B, but I would describe it as “Trap Soul” or “Trap R&B”. I'd say it’s like street soul, but I feel as though I can do any genre.
How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?
I think I posted a picture on Facebook and in the caption it said Hazel because it showed the color of my eyes and people just caught it!! Then when I was 15 I got with my boys back home and we formed a group YOUNG SAVAGE NATION, YSN for short. I put the YSN in front of Hazel and the rest is history.

My influences really have been my struggle! The things I face as a man now and things I have been through growing up and my kids
What Are You Working On Now? Any Future Collaborations We Can Look Forward To?
Right now I’m working on dropping my second project next month. Getting my visuals right for my fans to enjoy. No collaborations as of now, but I’m looking forward to work so hit me up!
What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry? What Is Your Plan Of Action?
My ultimate goal is to WIN! I wanna get billboard’s placements, Grammy Awards, all that! I mean why would a kid wanna go to the NBA or NFL? To win Finals or the Super Bowl, go for it all! Get more engaged, drop more music, and give the people what they want!
What Is Your Favorite Track To Perform Live and Why?
I love to perform Life Story because I just love the feeling it gives me on stage. Ima make you feel my pain if you there lol
What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus Far?
My biggest challenge really has just been building relationships. I’m not really a people person. I try, I’m getting better tho lol M work ethic is no problem. I love making music so everything is easy and fun.
What’s Your Typical Songwriting Process?
Finding my melodies first. So I basically hum the flow and then fill it in with words.
How Has Social Media Influenced Your Career As An Artist?
Social media has been a big help. You really don't need a label if you got it. Everybody has IG and Facebook that’s our world today and you get honest feedback from people you don’t know! And it’s a big help especially with the pandemic going on.

Lil Baby, Chris Brown, August Alsina, all Atlanta artist really. I vibe to a lot of old music too.
What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?
WORKED WORKED WORKED warehouse jobs, landscaping, flipping burgers in the streets, but that wasn't cool. I found that out quick, but I always made time for my career.
Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?
Be true to your craft, don’t whole back, WORK!!!! Because there is somebody else always doing the same. Don't be scared of rejection. Find different ways to change and evolve in music. Don’t stay the same try things!
What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?
I would do more for independent artist bottom line?
How Do You Feel About Originality?
Originality is everything like I said be true to yourself. Making music that comes from the heart is the best music. You don’t wanna sound like the next person.
