Underground Interview With Mr.Dragonfly
How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?
The dragonfly symbolism carries with it the wisdom of change and learning through experience.
It's the symbol of joy and lightness, and having a deep connection with your thoughts and emotions, Dragonfly is my nickname from my Grandmother; who said "Boy your always moving around never sitting still like a Dragonfly". Then in High School I played basketball the only person in school history to play Sophomore and JV in the same year;when asked what my name was I told them Dragonfly and it was the name people called me until graduation. I haven't use that name again all my adult life till now and I thought it explains my music it fits well so I went back to using the name

Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?
Do what what you Love and stay passionate about it;dont do it for Fame or fortune you have the power to change a person attitude.. Music is powerful you literally have an opportunity to make people look at the world different and make them forget what they're day brought. You have the power to bring lovers together, make them think of there Mom,Dad,Kids, the birds, trees Etc.. when the sun is out and they play your song and depending on the tempo or GENRE you just created there atmosphere or even when the Rain is out and they are in front of a fire place looking outside their window you have just created a mood. Lastly don't try to be like anyone else. Now as I stated before I want to be the next Quincy Jones (If you don't know who he is well,, very sad LOL but go check him out) but I don't want to be him I want to stand out for my originality and that's what I'm saying to you be ORIGINAL and don't listen to Nay Sayers!
What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?
Get rid of Today's style of Rap its stupid no creativity and I believe it lost all meaning.. Rap back in the day related to what we were facing and going through there was a message behind it; now its wrapped up with that same ole drum machine sound and computerized voice and I would change Country Music its sounding like R&B not sure anymore should change it to CR&B LOL
How Do You Feel About Originality?
100% be Original Just like a finger print no one on earth has the same Be your own Artist
