TL Jones, otherwise know as Ty’esha L Jones, was born January 4, 1989. She is the oldest of 5 children.

TL started singing and writing music at an early age. She started singing at just three years old and started writing music when she was seven. When she was a child she wanted nothing more than to write music. Little did she know in her adulthood she would do just that.

In her early 20’s she had her first child. After a series of unfortunate events, she ended up homeless with her then two year old child. They remained homeless for six months due to the strain between her and her family. After finding a job and finding a place to stay life returned to normal.

At work, she came up with a mailing list to accommodate a short story she came up. The list quickly spiraled out of control and the once short story turned into a weekly occasion as the list grew to over three hundred people. TL did the impossible and wrote her first book, Happily Never After: As It Is Written, in only three months. She got the book published only a couple of months later.

Following the success of her book, she met her first songwriting client at a Magazine launch. She has since written multiple songs for multiple artist, but wasn’t gaining much traction. It wasn’t until she was rejected from a major label for songwriting that she decided to emerge as an artist to prove the naysayers wrong.

TL Jones releases her first EP entitled “No chaser” in July of 2018. She released her first single, “Miss Me” from her highly anticipated album “New Era” slayed to be released on January 4, 2020.
