What Musical Genre Do You Feel Best Describes Your Music And How Would You Describe Your Sound?
Definitely hip hop. With the in our group there is a lot of different sounds which is the definition of hip hop we range from rap to more of a dance pop club sound. Myself I would say that I have been mostly compared to the late great Nipsey Hussle, both in message and appearance. I have always looked like him, but more deeply my messages to bring hip hop platform are similar.
How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?
Going back to when I was younger I was always the taller and of my peers and calling me big Nate. I decided to add the identifier as MG once we Developed our group. I know there are several things out there with the same term as big Nate's so I use the MG the same style that Weezy uses the F in his middle name. It can stand for musically gifted money get or whatever I'm feeling in that particular moment.
What Are or Have Been Your Musical Influences?
Growing up I was heavily influenced by phone so though I was listening to hip hop before that such like bone thugs and harmony Method Man Wu Tang, 50 got me hooked on the "hood rich" mentality.
Throughout the years I can't necessarily say that anybody has inspired me more than Nipsey. I Do not think that I compare to most that are out there today even the legends that I listened to and might have taken experience from and pointers from I am unique but Nispeys His mindset changed my mindset and I saw it through his music, There is a way to use your past as relief for others and hope for others and inspiration for others but also off the court we need to continue to inspire our kids to do better.
