Val Johashen is a singer songwriter based in London. It has always been her dream to be a singer as a child.

After leaving her country of birth Guyana South America the UK by marriage and because of family obligations the dream had to be shelved. Now that she is free of her obligations, she is trying to fullfill her promise to herself. Val’s songs are about her life story and are versatile. She believes that she can contribute to the music industry despite what others may think. Val has nothing to prove to anyone but herself and pray the day may come when at least one of her songs will be sung by many.
