celebrated his long lasting career as an artist doing several gigs inside Helsinki area. For fun he has done also some gigs as a street musician in Helsinki and also a wonderful acapella street appearance in Gamla Stan Stockholm, Sweden, performing his songs and melting the hearts of the people passing by. RT is heading high in his solo career and doing gigs with the Los Hermos Band.
What Musical Genre Do You Feel Best Describes Your Music And How Would You Describe Your Sound?
We play rock music with a strong and such beautiful melody sound. The sound is easy to relate in and the songs will take listener to the world of my kind of music making style. I really love to challenge myself again and again to make old and new listeners love my music each on their own way.
How Did You Get Your Name? Is There A Story?
It's an attitude kind of thing to people not being afraid of a matter of mental illness and everything beyond that as an issue.
What Are or Have been Your Musical Influences?
Hanoi Rocks, Elvis Presley, Duran Duran and Susanne Vega just to mention few.
What Are You Working On Now? Any Future Collaborations We Can Look Forward To?
We are working on a new album right now. Los Hermos Duo is on the spotlight on it and we will use some synth elements to complete the music. It will be different album than the albums we have made until today. We are trying some new sounds and style influences and it will be very interesting how it will bring new colors while still keeping our original style alive as well.
What Is Your Ultimate Goal In The Music Industry? What Is Your Plan Of Action?
We plan to succeed highly in the music industry and play lots of shows and gigs internationally as soon as possible. It would be a dream come true and planning making it happened least in some level. We are ready to start from minor to major first doing gigs on street and pubs if necessary. We also hope to get our albums sell worldwide.
What Is Your Favorite Track To Perform Live and Why?
My favorite track is called "Lite up my life". I love its warmness and hope it brings on people less life.
What Has Been The Biggest Challenge In Your Career Thus far?
To perform to thousands people in Finlandia Hall in Helsinki few years ago. It was awesome and made us believe Los Hermos is and will be in people less minds to stay and we are serious in what we do. We also did a visit to Los Angeles to record our latest album "The Night Is Here" there. It was very challenging as well.
What’s Your Typical Songwriting Process?
It depends where to start. Sometimes I write just from an idea to create more or sometimes I write a text first or just jam a while see what comes alive. Most of these i use different ideas to build brains into each track.
How Has Social Media Influenced Your Career As An Artist?
I have given some Los Hermos interviews mostly here in Finland so far but our music is been heard very well internationally in networks and radios around the world.
What Are Some Tracks and Artists Currently On Your Playlist?
Recently i been listening the latest TLC album. It Has great tunes as "American Gold" and "Scandalous". Also been listening to Duran Duran Rio album. I love tunes such as "Lonely in your nightmare" and "The Chaffeur". I am very related to all kinds of music and artists from Jazz, Pop and Hard and heavy (Queen, Def Leppard, Michael Jackson) to World Music (India Are, Kalpna)
What Did You Do Before You Started Making Music?
I Have made music all my life. But i have played soccer as a junior for six years in a Finish team. It was fun also.
Any Advice For Young People (Men or Women) That Want To Succeed In The Music World?
Just be yourself and make people start to understand what you are saying with your music. Because otherwise they probably do not know why you are as an artist or band in music business for. There is a lot of competition so please be serious with your message in your music. Always be thankful for every fan you make and have.
What Would You Change In The Music Industry If You Were A Top Music Executive?:
I would make it less rude and more Humanity in it. There are too many of such cruel and useless manners bothering it like artist and bands using and dying to drugs abuse. It is so mean and cruel and should not be happening at all. Pureness and gladness i would prefer as an attitude.
How Do You Feel About Originality?
Originality is very important in music and in everything you do. It shows to people you are a one of the kind and that you have a special place in the world.
